Michael Jackson Special

DJ Time 24hr EST Program

Channels

Not all channels are available at all times. See links above for what's playing

  1. bNPR - The voice of banniNation Pirate Radio. Contains the organized programming of the bNPR staff.
  2. Jukebox- Where you listen to what other bNer/ettes have selected from Brazil's hard drive.
    1. Request - Website to request your song to be played (you're allowed three in the queue at a time)
  3. brazil - Often DJ SAM the random computer selector. May be NSFW
  4. Elebrin - I will be playing whole albums, and I plan to be up from 10AM to 10PM. May be NSFW for language, as I don't have much censored stuff. Note that my tastes range from Folk to Black Metal so there will be a little variety. If anyone wants to take over during the other half or do a show or has a request or something join the google group and let me know.
  5. the electric jackass - Playing the music of SXSW 2009.
  6. hardly workin - Americana, folk, rock, soul, blues, surf, punk and miscellany. I call it Y'all-ternatives, or where Lester Flatt meets Weezer. Leave feedback and requests in any bNPR thread or e-mail hardlycast at gmail dot com.
  7. wepsi - The strange sounds from the land of eternal night and ice

NOTE: - If this does not work see How to Listen below

I want to be involved!

Please join the Google Group if you wish to provide content, technical help, or a relay.

willywanka would be more than happy to take a DJ slot. I can blab about music and music trivia for hours on end, and occasionally people DON'T want to kill me. But really, I don't mind taking a slot.

smackem yackem would like to try DJ'ing.

Phear is here, and willing to DJ at some point. Also, I am willing to dirty deeds to your wife, girlfriend, mother, sister... Wait, is this just related to the bN radio? Oh... Put me down for DJ'ing.

AbbyNormal would be happy to DJ.

sockpuppet would like to dj as well. The first half would be classic stoner rock/indie music and then some downtempo electonica or hiphop, once a definitive time is set.

beerdiva will be more than happy to help if someone would give me a lesson on internet djing. be prepared for everything from alt country to death metal

cuddles is willing to donate time on his station's server, KJSR.net, for a simulcast, if nothing else.

jin verde would be happy to DJ but like beerdiva, I will need some skoolin'. I have some eclectic taste, so umm... well a lot of it is that furriner sounding stuff.

wushupork would like to throw his hat into the mix as well as a DJ from time to time. 14k+ songs can't be wrong.

abe froman wants to know if anyone is interested in a talk show, either news or fiction or a recap of the funny stuff that happened on bN that week.

mathmatix is interested in doing a talky. I'd like to do an hour at least for politics and an hour at least for sports. abe froman, if you're interested in working with me, email me at mathmatix.bn@gmail.com.

muninsfire has managed to get idjc working, and could run a show of some kind without too much trouble. Munin's Calmly Read News, perhaps.

wepsi could try DJ'ing as well, if you don't mind some interesting music choices or hearing Finnish music. http://bannination.hopto.org:8000/wepsi.ogg plays either Finnish music or whatever I'm listening to at that moment

the electric jackass would like to dj also. It doesn't get any more random. Lots of music you've not heard before, as well as plenty that you have. http://bannination.hopto.org:8000/tej.ogg currently playing music from SXSW 2005-2008, on random.

SelectiveDisclosure would love to host an indie hour of my latest random discoveries and/or favorites. I'd also love to do a little talking if having call-ins is an option. Wait...that could get dangerous. Wait...that's not a bad thing.

I'm declaring PeerCast a dead end. Just too old and unsupported. Not under active development. Very cool, but just could not get Relays to work. Peercast
