BanniNation League

The fantasy football banniNation League (bN League)was created in June of 2007 by beerdiva upon the activation of Yahoo! Sports Fantasy Football 2007. The 2007 season of the banniNation League also served as the opening leg of the inaugural banniNation Fantasy Championship Series

The Original 10
In spite of its early creation, a full 10 weeks before the start of the season, The inaugural season of the bN League filled up with original teams rather quickly.

The Regular Season
The bN League regular season start coincided with the start of the NFL season and goes through week 15. As a result of the number of teams being unequal to the number of weeks in the season, there was no guarantee that each team would play a fair round robin schedule. Additionally, every team was not guaranteed a similar number of home games and some had to go on extended road swings.
The Playoffs
The playoffs for the bN league took place over weeks 16 and 17 of the NFL season. Yahoo! Sports playoff system splits the 10 teams into two divisions four teams. The top four teams played in the Championship Bracket, and the next four teams played in the Consolation Bracket.
Weekly Results
With the bN League being tied into the bNFCS, weekly results had the potential to be rewarded with valuable bonus points. The highest scorer in each week received five bonus points, the second highest scorer recieved three points, and the third highest scorer received one. The top three scorers in each week are identified with italics
