This page was made by users, not the creators of bannination. Please see the talk page on this subject for the ongoing discussion.

The following things are illegal in some or all states of the USA, and never allowed in images:

  • Child pornography.
  • Bestiality.

The following things, although legal in the US, are discouraged on this site, and may be flagged as inappropriate if desired:

  • Sexual penetration of any kind ("hardcore").
  • Shocking or disturbing depictions of injury.
  • Body fluids and feces.
  • Obscene depictions of dead humans or animals.

All topics in both lists above may be discussed via text; however the community is encouraged to resist posting pictures of them. It should be noted, that these things (among others) constitute a "gray" area and it is the whim of the community to decide whether they are appropriate in the context of the current thread.

All non-prohibited content which is not safe for work should be restricted to threads flagged NSFW. NSFW content posted in threads not flagged NSFW, whether image or text, should be flagged as inappropriate.

The following content is specifically allowed in NSFW threads:

  • Nudity (male and female, including all body parts).
  • Sexual contact short of penetrative sex (kissing, fondling), including same-sex contact.

The above lists are not definitive or exhaustive, and may be revised at a later date by the site's owners (i.e. the people who pay the bills).

Please take these guidelines into consideration when posting images and remember if you are not sure, link it instead of inline hosting it.
