If you change your vote, it disregards your previous vote, resulting in a net change of 1.5 votes.
  • Why do I have to refresh to see my votes?
Because automatically refreshing the screen after every vote would eat precious bandwidth and you might lose your screen's scroll position. Trust blindly that the interweb transferred your fine vote choice to the sekret servers and that it has been measured for worth and tallied appropriately.
