The main page links to this as "a quick, breezy walk-through".. I haven't really kept up with this page's history, but what's here now isn't my idea of quick and breezy, it's more like a swamp, messy and difficult to slog through :|

Is there any way it could be pared down, or separated into one "quick breezy" part and another part with more indepth explanations?
