CaponeX was born in Chicago's western suburbs in the spring of 1974 thanks to a last minute move by the obstetrician that would deliver him. He grew up first on Chicago's northwest side near Grand and Central Avenues, later moving to the Bucktown neighborhood, and then the Humboldt Park neighborhood. In 1986, he moved with his family to the rural south. After graduating high school in 1992, he then moved to the suburbs of Nashville to attend Middle Tennessee State University. After dropping out of university, he then moved to Nashville's Antioch neighborhood. He remained in Nashville until 2002. After a short move back to the rural area, he then made a move to Indianapolis in 2003. After 2 years of living in a state that turns out was even more conservative than Tennessee, he made the move back home to Chicago in 2005. He now resides on the southwest side of the city where he is a freelance graphic designer.
