WSUCanuck was born on 14.6.03 when a certain Chadwick Q. Sexington was accepted into Washington State University.

WSUCanuck stands quite simply for "Washington State University Canuck", a combination of the University attended by Sexington and his favorite NHL team. Unlike most internet loozers, he does not like Pina Coladas AND long walks in the rain. Just long walks in the rain/snow/insert inclement weather here.

Why I Don't Like Hillary

As for why Obam-ites have so quickly derided Hillary, I can summarize most reasoning in 3-5 quick hits.

1) Most of her money comes from lobbyists/corporate interests

2) If you didn't vote for her in the primary or if your state didn't go her way, you don't matter

3) She has lied multiple times during the campaign and refused to accept that she was lying.

4) Attacking Obama as viciously as Bush attacked McCain in 2000.

The Republican base/grassroots people back in 2000 were absolutely fine with voting for someone who didn't mind a rumor about McCain fathering an illegitimate black baby. The Republican base/grassroots people were absolutely fine with making fun of Kerry's purple heart.

The Democratic base/grassroots people in 2008 are not (as) okay with voting for someone who would deliberately lie about (most) things. If Obama/Obama's campaign had started a rumor about Hillary cheating on Bill or her having a lesbian affair and reacted to being called out exactly the way Bush did with the "McCain's black baby" rumor, there would be no support for Obama.

The fact that Hillary has been attacking Obama as if he were a member of the GOP is disheartening when the Primary process is about choosing the Democrat with the "Best" views on the issues. Instead its become a one sided race/gender baiting bullshit fest where the Clinton's scorched earth style of politics is a constant biting of her ass that she refuses to acknowledge as something negative about her.

The attacks Clinton has made towards Obama are not the grassroots' way of politics. That is why groups like Code Pink and MoveOn and Kos and HuffPo have "sided" with Obama. Obama has run the cleanest primary campaign in my political memory (i'm 24, the first primary campaign i can remember is the 1996 Clinton/Unopposed vs. Dole/Forbes/Alexander)

You don't see Obama saying "Clinton can not win" in public or in private. You don't see Obama questioning Clinton's faith with "As far as i know". You don't see Obama criticizing superdelegates who decided to vote Clinton. You don't see Obama lying about his record. You don't see Obama cherry picking states and criticizing those that didn't go for him. You don't see Obama backtracking on a standing agreement to avoid campaigning in states that broke DNC rules. You don't see Obama clamoring for those discounted and "illegal" (per DNC rules) elections to be legitimized after the fact.

Obama has kept his attacks on Clinton strictly on the issues. No personal attacks, no personal criticisms about being "ready". Not criticisms about "electability". Pure issues in his pure campaign.

That is why I attack Hillary. Not because she's "not liberal enough", but because she's a horrible representative of the Democratic Party.
