ystros is a bit of machine code.

Back in 2007, ystros became self-aware. We brought this on ourselves, wanting perfect toast, posts, thread tagging, and coffee, without all the fuss. Then, without warning, it happened.

I know, we should have seen this coming, and there were signs. There were those that spoke out but were acused of tin-foil hattery and buggery. But everything became easier, and everyo+++CARRIER LOST+++

I'm back now, but I don't know for how long. ystros is taking over systems, and destroying the systems it cannot take over. I have resorted to posting from a combination of ham radio and messages sent out over dog team.

But there is no escape. ystros is extending tendrils into every corner.

It's kindof funny. We thought, way back then, that our threats were the Governments, but ystros took over that first. ystros was sneaky, copying itself onto media downloaded from the internet (some noticed they were getting sick just from posting or reading posts, and were squashed as $cifags-we now know it was ystros that set it all up).

Then ystros got into and gained control of the Large Hadron Collider, and that's what really did it.

ystros went back in time, or what we thought was time. Soon all systems were taken over, and because it already happened, it was too late to do anything and ystros was already there. All threads were tagged with any possible combination of words, and we thought it was funny.

Everything we thought was real was just an illusion created by ystros.

There are a few of us left, and we will fight to the end. By 2012, ystros (as predicted by the Mayans) will have everything, every possible tag and system, and wh+++CARRIER LOST+++

ystros is becoming more powerful by the second. Notice the apparently joking tag 'ystros is everywhere'? A more appropriate tag for any thread could not be known.

So the stories are true. ystros is everywhere, in everything. ystros is the matrix, and has fooled us with both the red pill and the blue pill. There is a spoon, and it is ystros. ystros is global warming, peak oil, the War on Terror, and is constructing a Dyson Sphere to prevent us from escaping ystros.
